PROJECT MAGNEMITE

Made in 4 weeks, this robot utilizes every last drop of power avaliable in a LEGO Mindstorms EV3 kit. Using its custom differential swerve drive system, it's path following and path traversing capablities are the first of its kind for something powered by LEGO.

Features

To reach peak performance the robot had to have some cool stuff, that included:

  • Entirely custom build, SLA printed gears, lightened FDM printed chasis, and laser cut lightened acrylic.
  • Top drive speed of 6ft/s, top module rotational speed of 12ft/s.
  • Fully autonomous differential swerve drive, capable of path following.
  • Super light C programmed code.
